Helping a Co-worker -- David
I helped a co-worker on a project that was causing him a lot of stress.
Shoveling snow -- Lori
I helped my elderly neighbor shovel her driveway.
Making a Meal -- Susan
I made a meal for a neighbor who was going through a family crisis. I plan to
do this a lot more in the future because it really helped her out and was not
hard for me to do at all. Made us all happy!
Father-Daughter Dance
I serve on a Father Daughter Dance committee through District 196 Community
Education. We raise money for charity, while bringing dads and daughters
together for such an enjoyable evening.
Music, Music, Music!
I am sharing my gifts as an instrumentalist at many worship services during Lent and Easter.
Doggie Day Care
I went and helped my mom look for boarding kennels for my puppy for over spring break.
Girl Scout Leader -- Lori
I serve the Girl Scouts of MN & WI River Valleys at a Troop Leader, Fast Start Coach, Volunteer Trainer, and on various conference committees. I have been serving as a Girl Scout Volunteer for the past 5 1/5 years.
Favorite Cookies -- Pam
I took little treats (that were her favorite cookies) to my sister who is a care-giver for our bed-ridden sister.
Sweatshirt
I made a sweatshirt that had velcro in the back for my bed-ridden sister.
In Search of "Buddy's" Keys
Earlier this week, one of my co-workers mis-placed his keys. Several of us looked for them and we even called AAA to unlock the car to see if they were left inside. By the end of the night they were nowhere to be found. I let "Buddy" use my car so a spouse did not have to come to pick my co-worker up.
